Bemusement #4: The panic, the vomit December 7, 2006

My brother boarded a flight to Los Angeles last Sunday, I think. The day before, I got an iPod Video 30GB as a present. I already have 5GB of videos and 4GB of music on it, therefore pwning the 8GB iPod Nano.

Then I realized that in the time it takes me to walk home from school, I can listen to Paranoid Android from beginning to end a single time. That’s about 6 or 7 minutes, walking at 3km/h. 100 points and a cookie if you know how far my school is from my house.

Also, Paranoid Android, Subterranean Homesick Alien, and Exit Music are really good music to read The Silmarillion to.

I have an 8GB iPod nano, and it’s very nice indeed. Don’t want a normal iPod, they’re so big and bulky. Besides, I can’t really say I want to watch videos on such a small screen.

It’s exactly the same price as a 30GB 5th Gen.
Also, the bulkyness doesn’t really affect me. Try using a PSP for movies! :P
Yeah, the video option is worth it if you do a lot of car/plane/boring travel. Considering I’ll be bored while travelling for over a day’s worth of hours in the next 4 weeks, the video option is very nice indeed.
